Can psychic energy heal?
by kenpodragon inrecently i was watching a documentary on this woman who claimed that she could heal people with the power of her mind.
the documentary went into interviewing people about their experiences, and many of them actually had medical signs of improvement that could be documented and shown.
while watching this, i was seeing it as a example of psychic energy healing someone?

Any other martial artist online
by kenpodragon ini went from the jw's and got heavy into martial arts.
i have a black belt in kenpo karate, tkd, and kenjitsu and also hold ranks in jujitsu and other lower ranks in other systems.
i learned ages ago it is nothing evil like witnesses said it was, and have actually trained a few ex-jw's in my time.

Yeah me my fine little friend, I was into it deeply from about 17 to 25. As I look back on it before my head injury it seemed I could do many things others could not, I had no healthy fear of things that I should of, I felt I was indestructible. To some extent back then I was, its like something was just in-front of me just before I attempted a move at something, its hard to explain, I could control my pain or fear.
I wish I could do that now.

Most witness's don't even look at the pictures in their books.
by Singing Man inlike the one of the little girl falling into a big crack in the earth, a picture of amagedon from the paradise book.
few witness's stop and ponder just how sick that really is to show kids that at a young age.
if anyone has that post it to this thread for others to see just how hurtful that could be for children of a tender age.

You wrote>>>
First, Egypt was a Devil-ruled pagan country, not a place for divine revelation; second, God does not accomplish his work through the type of slave labor that built the pyramids; third, Christians are told that they must live by faith, not by sight; and fourth, if the Christian congregation was to be taught by the measurements of this ancient pile of stone either Jesus or some of the apostles would have said something about it; and they did not. A briefer account of this is found in the , issue of The Watchtower.
I write>>> It has been porven that the people who built the pyramids did so as a life long work it was there trade they were not slaves no more than a federal worker could be looked upon as a slave. They had many provisions for their labors.

Halloween after leaving the JW's
by TresHappy inwhen i was a kid, we did halloween every year.
no big deal, just costumes and trick or treating, but that was the 70's.
when i was 11 we stopped celebrating everything, and several years ago i left the jw's.

I love Halloween I find there are some people who are spooky all the time about demons and stuff, most people could care less about the history of Halloween. When you see little kids dressed like Barny you know it can't be all about incantations.

WOULD YOU GIVE THE JW'S THIS?
by integ ina jw relative brought out something i actually had to agree with.
we were discussing positive vs. negative aspects of the "truth".
she brought out that the witnesses do not participate in war, and i thought 'gee, that's probably a good thing'.

Oh gee they clean behind their seats after the meetings. And they no longer tape the chairs, and get drunk after assemblys, and last if not lest the brothers no longer look at the pretty sisters.

Right on! Your doing the right thing, you don't have to be a Witness to have a brother hood heck you have one right here. Be happy that you are backing out of a cult or as some call it the Borg" the name fits. You have heard of the saying "get a life" well that is what you have done is got your life back and pushed away the poison punch. Live long and prosper.
